It is impossible for a website such as this to tell you specifically where to buy solar energy products, but we can give you some advice.
There are on-line retailers of these different systems as well as specialist retail shops found in larger centres. (Check your local Yellow Pages directory or on-line directory.)
It is not necessarily the job of these retailers to give you advice; however, if you can find a retailer who is prepared to give you advice before you purchase and to give you good after sales service, then that puts you in a stronger position.
It is important to get advice that is reliable for the locality where the installation will take place. Weather patterns may determine that one system is not as good as another where you live.
There are chat groups where advice (and insults) are freely traded, but one could not be sure of advice from such places.
If you are planning to do the installation yourself, make sure you read this first.
A caution: In many jurisdictions, you may disqualify yourself from grants or rebates unless your system is installed by a qualified installer. See the Grants page.
A warning: Unless you are sure you have all the skills and knowledge necessary to install these systems yourself, then you should only buy products from the installer as part of the installation service.
Fill in your details in the box on the left and we can keep you up to date with new product developments, such as the nanotechnology revolution in delivering solar energy.
These products should be able to be installed by a competent home handyman or woman.
It is a good idea to do some on-line browsing to see what is available, and then approach a local retailer for advice. Advice can be free, and on-line purchases can be cheaper. However, you want to be sure you know who to approach if something goes wrong.
Our Products page features some products such as useful books, home solar powered external lighting and security systems.
